Cognitum was established as an Ltd in 2010 in Warsaw, Poland and continues building its competences within several technological areas:

Cognitum delivers FluentEditor™ for OWL, a comprehensive tool for editing and manipulating complex ontologies using Controlled Natural Language. Fluent editor provides alternative to XML-based OWL editors that is better suitable for human users. Its main feature is using Controlled English as a knowledge modeling language. Supported via Predictive Editor prohibits one to enter any sentence that is not grammatically or morphologically correct and actively help the user during sentence writing.
The company delivers also a first-class heterogeneous data acquisition service from text sources over Internet in Poland – MediaMon.pl, with custom text mining algorithms and natural language processors. Cognitum is a partner of Microsoft Corporation in Poland.
