Core competencies

Barco has a broad experience with all-in-one visualization solutions for monitoring, response dispatching/coordination,
access/flow control, recording and overall systems control and network-centric visualization platforms integrating
information from various different sensors implemented in operational, tactical and strategic Command & Control
Centres. Barco provides key components like video and radar sensor data acquisition cards, high resolution video
recording and archiving systems, video transcoders and display management software for visualization systems and
integrated visualization platforms (for large-area collaborative environments as well as individual and or small group

Barco’s visualization platforms for homeland security and defense can integrate the traditional C4ISR elements known
from traditional scenarios (e.g. camera, radar, sonar images) as well as courses of action analysis and/or mission
