Core competencies

S2 Grupo is a Spanish technological company specialising in information security and process monitoring. It has a wide experience in information security consultancy, security management systems and Business Activity Monitoring, BAM. S2 Grupo has developed its own product suite for monitoring, correlation and event management.
R&D at S2 Grupo covers several areas: real time risk analysis, usable corporate security, security in the supply chain, cloud security, online reputation protection, semantic correlation and self adaptation and self healing.
Most relevant national research projects currently ongoing include “Advanced platform for Supply chain real Time Risk management” and “SPACE-IT: Protection and Control System for the IT Environment.”

S2 currently coordinates two FP7 ICT projects: MUSES (Multiplatform Usable Endpoint Secutiry, www.musesproject.eu) and FastFix (Monitoring Software Execution and Event Correlation for Run-Time Adaptation, www.fastfixproject.eu ) and participates in an FP7 NMP project, ROPAS (Roll-to-roll paper sensors, www.ropas-project.eu ). In all these projects S2 contributes its knowledge and experience in security and privacy, process monitoring and event correlation and its involvement in the SME ICT community during dissemination activities.
