Core competencies

IAI’s Lahav serves for more than 20 years as a center of excellence in the field of real time tactical networks and applications. A very important motif in the modern network centric operation built from the functionality that is related to the generation of comprehensive SA (situation awareness) for all entities of the network, both on the ground as well as in the air.
Collecting data from sensors and systems, combine the data with information from other sources and bring greater value from data stream.
The entities are limited in their field of view, the network itself is used as a virtual distributed “sensor”, which enables the use of network entities information to generate a 360° comprehensive SA. Thus, each entity can continuously observe on his tactical display - his members and other network members’ 3D (2D and Altitude) location and orientation, threats as well as other types of information. This functionality results in significantly lower required voice coordination and overall workload on the entity.
This capability can be transferred to SA for ecosystems on the ground, and may also share the information with ground centers, in addition to the ground sensors information, get the aerial entities identification, location, status and other types of information, and may be distributed in real time.
The SA information update rate is application dependent, when the highest rate is allocated to the most critical applications.
The information is displayed to the entity on his device as a Tactical Situation Display (TSD) in “Gods Eye View” manner. All display objects are distinguished by color and shape; the applicable symbols will be tuned to suit the operational needs.

• Control and Status

• Frozen video image.

Furthermore we have capabilities in scenario development and decision support and vast experiance in simulators and trainors also for testing and validation.
