Core competencies
FRB-MSR provides services for all kinds of emergencies (incl. S&R and CRBN). Coordinates emergency
response in
Integrated Rescue System, operates regional 112 emergency calls centre. Is an crucial part of the crisis
management, public warning and civil protection and acts as regional crisis authority
FRB-MSR disposes of well trained personnel, appliances, facilities and is fully equipped to provide service in
all
scales of emergencies. FRB-MSR manages with 22 full time fire stations and operationally controls
approximately
356 part-time and volunteer stations. Disposes of INSARAG and UCPM certified WASAR and USAR modules for
national and international humanitarian aid. Operates a public warning system, operates and distributes the
warnings for crisis authorities and local authorities. Is responsible for managing of the regional Integrated
Security
Centre (facility for crisis authorities and public safety answering point).
Is able and experienced in carrrying out Case Studies, In-Field or Table-Top Exercises, Dissemination and
Education
Workshop/Meetings/Trainings.
