Core competencies
EMSC operates the first rapid earthquake information services in Europe and the second in the world. It has a unique expertise in rapid earthquake impact assessment including crowdsourcing, flashsourcing*, citizen networks. It also develop citizen engagement and risk perception through social networks.
We are interested to join consortium on items 4.1-1; 4.1-5 and 6.1-1 of SEC 2013 call
*Flashsourcing is the fastest method to collect in-stu information on earthquake damage. It analyses the fllashcrowd observed on our website within minutes of a felt/damaging quake.
