RFSAT Ltd is a research-performing SME established in the United Kingdom in 2008. Its activities focus on research and
development through national and international research funding, industrial consultancy and commercial exploitation
of research results in the telecommunications industry.
The list of interest areas relevant to the scope of the proposed work include networked audio-visual broadcasting,
tele-presence systems, Virtual/Augmented/Mixed-Reality systems and applications, 3D modelling, Body Motion
Capture, ultra-low-power wireless embedded sensing and control, 3D game-based rehabilitation, immersive user
interfaces, embedded mobile sensing and control, Smart Infrastructures, hybrid indoor / outdoor positioning and
localization, Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and other areas.
RFSAT pursues relevant research and innovation activities under European FP7 and COST Actions programs in the
thematic areas of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), Smart Energy and Critical Infrastructures,
Intelligent Construction, Security and e Health. RFSAT is an active member of key international organisations such as
Cultural Learning Alliance (CLA) in the UK, International Organisation of Scenographers Theatre Architects and
Technicians (OISTAT) , European Technology Platforms (ETP): Networked Media (NEM) and NetWorld2020 , European
Alliance for Innovation (EAI) , European Network Information Security (ENISA) Platform and other European alliances,
platforms and other professional organisations. RFSAT frequently organises and sponsors media events, conferences,
