Mr. Segal as the GT CTO & founder is passionate about creating research, development and business partnerships
between EU companies, industries, Academy, and Israeli startups.

He is well familiar with the Israeli industries and advanced solutions in this arena and focus on creating QUALITY
BUSINESS INTERACTIONS between the Israeli companies and international Governments, Enterprises, Integrators, and
organizations.

Mr. Segal brought to GT his vast experience in the big data and IOT which is mainly based on Statistical Pattern
Recognition, Image Process, Video analytics and Detection Sensors.

As an example, he was involved in many Smart City projects around the world that were based on advanced
technologies. The projects included tens of thousands of very low power sensors, unique big-data control-centers,
wearable cameras and DSPs for processing real-time Intelligent Video Analytics.

Mr. Segal gained expertise in evaluating potential connections, cooperation and ventures between different
companies and complementary solutions, as in dealing with high level governmental and municipal officials.

Mr. Segal former CTO in Magal Security System Ltd (www.magal-s3.com) was responsible for Magal Perceptive
systems for the Security-of-Things’ research (Internet-of-Things that is based on physical security sensors).
These heterogeneous connected systems use its own detectors as well as information from the privet cloud to build a
view of the area surrounding the protected site and in such a way realize threats and potential risks for the end-user.
Magal research team was internationally recognized for its work on solutions and devices for the security market,
Ultra Low Power sensor networks and High definition video over IP video management and recording system. The
team that Mr. Segal led contributes to the Security-of-Things revolution by developing innovative video analytic
algorithms, twisted pair sensors network, SOC sensors and low power sensor solutions for thousands of kilometers along
the Israeli borders.
