Core competencies
SaferGlobe is Finland´s leading think tank on peace and security conducting research and training. We aim to create
practicable information with impact. Annually, we create around 10 publications, and our work is regularly featured in
main media outlets. We have wide networks and are able to draw in expertise on a wide range of topics. We are
currently the conceptual framework manager for H2020-funded IECEU-project, where we created a comparative
framework for the study of effectiveness in crisis management. We also have extensive knowledge on, for example,
arms control, conflict sensitive business practices, interplay between internal and external security challenges.
